fresh bread smoked salmon poor soundproofing few hooks
The breakfast had fresh bread. Smoked salmon was available. Homemade granola was also on offer, I was grateful for this.
My room had no soundproofing. This was a problem. I was awakened throughout my stay by shouts outside the window. The room lacked any place for clothes, there were only a few hooks available.

homemade brownies delicious breakfast friendly staff
I appreciated the complimentary homemade brownies and coffee offered throughout the day. The breakfast was also substantial, delicious, and varied, including healthy options. The staff was helpful and friendly. They even held my bag on my last day. I was grateful for that.
The steep streets around the hotel can be challenging for some guests.

The breakfast area presented a rich assortment of foods. The building itself displayed antiques. I must say, the brownies provided a welcome treat after a busy day.
